Medway Mile

This year’s event takes place on Friday, 22 July at a new venue. This year the Medway Mile is taking place in and around Medway Park in Gillingham, as part of a move to spread Medway Council’s events programme out more widely to reach more communities in Medway. This means there’s a proper athletics track for your mascots to race on!

The event will have a jubilee and Commonwealth Games flavour, celebrating Medway’s military heritage in Brompton and the start of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham shortly after the event. The mascot race will be at 6.30pm, with the whole event running 5pm-9pm. The mass mile will be at 8pm.
